PartnershipDesk is a service for bridge players and is developed and run by bridge players. We consider your privacy to be of the greatest importance. Yes, even more important then finding the best possible partners/teammates. We only ask you for information which is essential to the running of the site. And we hold such information in trust. In particular, we do not encourage you to display private information such as phone numbers, etc. in your profile.

Email Addresses

We have no interest in your email address except for four very specific uses:

for authentication;
to allow the system to correspond with you about:
- the status of your requests;
- updates of the system or other news;
to allow confirmed partners to correspond with you in order to make arrangements to play;

In particular, we will never give your email address to anyone else without your express permission.

Passwords

We have no way of seeing your chosen password and we therefore cannot communicate it to any third parties. Nevertheless, we encourage you to use a unique random password rather than anything you might use at another site - please do not use the same password for this site as you do for any financial or similar sites.

Personal Names

The only usage to which we will put your personal name is to introduce you to confirmed partners. We will not divulge your personal name to any third parties.

Membership Numbers in Organizations

We have no interest in your ACBL membership number or any other membership data such as masterpoints, insofar as these are accurate. We will never divulge such membership numbers to anyone else.
