Events at NABCs are grouped first by NABC+ and "Other". Within those major categories, events are grouped by day, and therein by the session in which new entries for that event are sold. Drill down through event types, days and times and find the topic which corresponds to the event you are looking for.
You should look through the existing posts for that event to see if there's one to which you would like to reply. If there is none, start a new topic with a subject like "Flight A player looking for partner" (use the button on the right labled "NEW REQUEST").
If you have a partner and are looking for teammates for a team event, you should write something like "Need teammates" in the subject line. Otherwise, it will be assumed that you are looking for a partner.
If you can't find a partner for the event that you desire, check the other events that will be starting at the same time. You might find a suitable partner for one of those events.
If you see a partner you want to contact, there are two different methods of doing so. First, you may reply to that person's topic, but note that your discussions will be visible for all to see. It's actually better to send a personal message to the person. Click the icon of the message (looks like a cartoon caption box) under the persons name on the left and a private message window will open. Compose your reply and click send.
IMPORTANT: when you agree to a partnership online, you should do two things:
- remove the topic that you started since you are no longer looking (just like taking your card down from the physical bulletin board);
- show up and play in the event with your new partner - he or she is counting on you being there!
